RENEWED

Have you ever been broken?

Broken inside?

Truly broken?

Where you are all alone and felt like you were drowning inside?

Deep In sorrow, you felt numb

Like there was no hope for tomorrow

I mean have you ever been broken?

Truly broken?

Again you were all alone

And in the quiet, you asked God why

Why me Lord? ..... Why?

What did I do to deserve this pain?

Am I not your child or am I doing all of this in vain?

One drop, two drops, here comes the pain

They say tears are a language God understands

One drop, two drops, here comes the rain

Have you ever been broken?

Truly broken?

Then ..SILENCE

The quiet whispers "Be still my child"

Weeping may endure for a night but joy cometh in the morning!

Joy, Joy, Joy

The joy of the Lord is my strength

Strength, Strength

Yes! strength from His words

Words that bring comfort like a pillow to the weary soul

Words that heal

Words that set Free

Words that put the broken pieces into their rightful place

Just remember His words

Psalm 34:17-18

"The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

The righteous person may have many troubles but the Lord delivers him from them all"

So dry your eyes and remember to whom you belong

Rest in the assurance that He is nearby,

Like a father watching over His child
